Our Software Engineer C# Vacancy

As a Software Engineer C#, you help build the core of our Spatial Eye products. You play an important role in designing, developing, and maintaining smart, reliable, and future‑proof software. You’ll have plenty of room to bring in new ideas and apply modern techniques, enabling you not only to deliver quality but also to drive real innovation. Quality, reliability, and continuous improvement are central, and you are a key contributor to all of these.

You work with modern tools such as Git, peer reviews, continuous builds, and short sprints, allowing you and your fellow engineers to continuously improve your work. Within the team, you’ll find a range of expertise, ranging from full‑stack to client/UX developers, and you collaborate effortlessly with them to achieve strong results.

What you’ll get to do
  • Building new features and scalable C# components.
  • Writing maintainable, well‑tested code.
  • Working with databases, APIs, and modern tooling.
  • Contributing to architectural and technical design decisions.
  • Translating functional requirements into smart, future‑proof solutions.
  • Performing code reviews and safeguarding code quality.
  • Working with CI/CD and automation to ensure stable releases.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and performance problems.
  • Working closely with fellow developers and UX specialists.
  • Contributing to sprints, planning, and continuous improvement.
What you bring
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or a comparable technical field.
  • Strong C# skills and experience developing robust, scalable software.
  • Experience with modern development environments, version control (such as Git), and software engineering practices like code reviews, CI/CD, and sprints.
  • Knowledge of databases, APIs, and preferably cloud or container technologies.
  • Affinity with GIS development or a background in 3D technology or game design is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving ability, and a structured way of working.
  • Good communication skills and enjoyment in collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Good command of Dutch and English (at least B2 level, preferably C1).
  • Willingness to work 1–2 days per week at our office in Culemborg.
