Our Job Opening Software Engineer C#

As a Software Engineer (C#), you will be part of Spatial Eye’s Engineering team. You will have a responsible role in designing, developing, and maintaining our generic software products, proprietary SDK, and business applications. Predictable quality, reliability, and innovation are central to everything we do.

You will build generic components that are robust and intelligently designed — something you will benefit from yourself in the long term. We work with Git, peer reviews, continuous builds, 3‑week sprints, and bi-yearly releases.

Within our team, there are multiple domains of expertise and different roles, including full‑stack developers and client / UX developers.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
  • Higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO) level of thinking, demonstrated through education or relevant experience.
  • Several of experience as a Software Engineer, or equivalent demonstrated through academic results.
  • Strong knowledge of C#, MVVM, and asynchronous programming as well as the .NET ecosystem, including experience developing, testing, and maintaining software applications.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and with CI/CD environments is a plus.
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and experience working with various operating systems.
  • Ability to effectively analyze and resolve software issues (debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization).
  • Experience with or interest in GIS or geo-information systems is an advantage.
  • Affinity with or interest in grid operators, the energy transition, and Smart Grids is a plus.
  • Strong command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written (minimum level B2, C1 preferred).
  • Willingness to work 1–2 days per week at our Culemborg office.
